Good work between both fights.
I guess the rules are diifferent in Russia? When and where is it allowed to halt/stop a fight in the middle of a round and work on a cut, and then leave tap or a bandage covering the cut? (First) You should be only allowed to work on the cut in between the rounds. And you can only use vaseline/grease to help stop the flow of blood coming out of a cut, (NOT A BANDAGE). Looks like there was a little bit of good old home town refereeing going to allow this to happen.

Rules identical, you are absolutely right, but it was the decision of referee and it on his conscience :), fighters did that depends on them.

GUYS, WHAT DONE IS DONE, JAMES HAVEN'T FOUGHT FOR SOME TIME, THAT'S WHY HE WASN'T 100% SHARP, PLUS HE IS A SLOW STARTER. IF IT WOULD BE 4TH AND 5TH ROUND I HAVE NO DOUBT HE WOULD BE A WINNER.
HE IS FIGHTING THIS GUY AGAIN IN NEW YORK IN SEPTEMBER, SO THE OUTCOME CAN BE DIFERENT. I HOPE.

Marsel fighting better in the last rounds, so we wished to see five rounds.

I bet Vova has contributed to the fact that Russians are being broadcasted all over the internet, and being looked at from a different perspective :)
He is a well-known figure in Muay Thai circles, great promoter and showman, great coach.
I liked both fighters. They are pretty comparable in terms of class (level of preparation, skills, etc) It would be interesting to watch the fight in NY. Hope to see the fight in September. If not-there is always an internet...
By the way, why did they not perform a Wai Kru? It is such a beautiful thing. A spectacle. Should be upheld.

Интересно ,а сколько если не секрет Маряк получит с боя с Куком в Америке,в доллоровом иквиваленте и сколько получил в Москве после боя, вопрос к Бородину и Кудринскому.Люди хотят знать насколько это серьезно и стоит ли уважать эту новую лигу WBL.А то говорят за бой тысячу баксов получил,это ведь несерьезно господа.
